France’s President Emanuel Macron reiterated Saturday his country’s support to Iraq and its war against terrorism.
Addressing the opening of the Baghdad Cooperation and Partnership conference in the presence of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Macron said that the Iraqi people have suffered from wars, especially against terrorism.
“We are here to reinforce the sovereignty of Iraq,” Macron added.
France has several projects on table for Iraq, especially amid the tangible international interest in supporting investments in Iraq, he added.
