Egyptian pop star Mohamed Hamaki has been among the most trending topics in Egypt in recent weeks after releasing successive singles from his 2021 summer album ‘Ya Fateny.’
Hamaki, who performed a big concert in the North Coast last weekend attended by thousands, has been trending for four successive singles released so far: ‘Zayaha Meen’, ‘Law Hatsib’, ‘Tak’ and Thursday’s release ‘Talea Mooda’.
The album’s first single, ‘Zayaha Meen,’ has been at the top of the charts of almost all music platforms, gaining over 15 million listens so for on YouTube alone since it was released three weeks ago.
The fashionable ma’soum arrangement of Tamim is written by one of the season’s most active songwriters, Aziz El-Shafei, who wrote many top tracks of the season, including ‘Hetta Tanya,’ which brought star actress Ruby back to the pop playground.
The multi-award-winning Hamaki, 45, is working with members of his old crew like lyricists Tamer Hussein, Amir Toaimah and Tamer Hussein, composers Amr Mostafa, Tamer Ali, Ahmed Ibrahim, and music producers Tamim and Tarek Madkour.
The rest of the album is expected to release on all music platforms throughout September.
Hamaki, who started as a composer for many years, gained widespread fame after his first album 'Khalina Naesh' was released in 2003.
