Small Theatre 

Afrah Alqoba, play produced by the Youth Theatre Company is based on Naguib Mahfouz novel bearing the same name. It casts Abdel-Moneim Riyad, Mohamed Tamer, Samar Allam, Fatema Adel, Mena Nabil and many more. Décor and lighting by Amr Al-Ashraf, costumes designed by Abeer Badrawi, movement designs by Monadel Antar. It is written and directed by Mohamed Youssef Almansour 

(Performances run on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9pm).

Grand Tiba Theatre

Abo El Araby fi Mohema Rasmia (Abo El Araby in a mission impossible), a comedy about the making of Abo El Araby and his transformation into a new character as an expert in nuclear energy. The play is starring Hani RamzyDalia Al-Beheiry, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Gomaa, Haggag Abdel-Azim and Laila Ezz Al-Arab, written by Mohsen Rizk and directed by Tamer Karam 

(3 September, 8.30pm).

Metropol (The Children’s National) Theatre

Lailatkom Saida (good evening) play is an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s The Chorus Girl short story. The play casts actors Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mariam Al-Sokary, Marwa Eid, Nadeem Hisham, written and directed by Khaled Galal

Al-Salam Theatre

Dogs, a play produced by the Youth Theatre Company, starring the second batch of graduates of “Start Your Dream” workshop. The play is written by Gamal Hedeny, décor by Hamdy Attia, costumes designed by Amira Saber, and directed by Kamal Attia

Salah Abdel-Sabour Hall

Farida play, produced by Taliaa Theatre Company, starring Aida Fahmy is an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s play Swan Song, written and directed by Akram Mustafa. It is about an actress who recalls the ups and downs of her artistic journey    

(Performances run daily except Tuesdays, 7.30pm). 

Zaki Tolaimat Hall

The Hunchback of Notre Dame, play produced by Taliaa Theatre Company, is a novel by Victor Hugo. It features actors George Ashraf, Yehia Mahmoud, Mariam Al-Guindy, Heba Qenawy, décor by Hamdy Attia and costumes designed by Naaima Agamy, and directed by Nasser Abdel-Moneim

(Performances run daily, 7.30pm).

ALEXANDRIA 

Lycee El Horreya Theatre

Qa’a (bottom), a play on the idea of the human existence and the life journey on earth with all struggles it causes for man and his existence. The show is the graduation project of Nogoum Almostaqbal Theatre Company workshop, written by Mahmoud Mohsen, and directed by Mohamed Moursi
