Galatasary coach Fatih Terim said on Monday that his side's Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed has to regain his playing rhythm if he wants to keep his place with the club this season.
The Turkish coach has criticised the recent performance of the 23-year-old striker, who has had a poor start this season with Galatasary.
Mohamed joined Galatasary from Egyptian side Zamalek last January for a one-and-a-half-season loan deal with an option to make it permanent after paying $4 million.
The former Zamalek striker made an impressive start with Galatasaray, scoring five goals in his first five appearances, but his current performance this season is far from that produced last season, as he lost his place in the team's starting line-up.
"With this performance. Mostafa Mohamed has to consider himself out of the team's squad in the next season," Fatih Terim told Turkish media on Monday.
"If he wants to play in the French league or in the Premier League, he has to follow my instructions.
"But with his current performance, his future club will be Zamalek, where he played before joining us."
The international striker was close to joining French side Bordeaux this summer, but he failed to complete his move due to differences between Galatasaray and Zamalek.
Mohamed failed to score in nine appearances with Galatasaray this season so far.
