DR Congo have postponed a training camp ahead of their opening World Cup qualifier against Cameroon, Radio Okapi reported on Tuesday.

The camp was scheduled to begin on Monday in Lubumbashi but was put on hold for financial reasons. The DR Congo government has failed to release funds to back the Leopards ahead of the Cameroon clash, Radio Okapi added.

DR Congo and Cameroon will meet in their opening Group I game of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on 2 June in Yaounde.

Togo and Libya will also play in the group.
