Rainfall of varying intensity is expected to continue until Tuesday at 2pm local time in Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, and North Upper Egypt, Egypt's Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in a brief statement on Tuesday.
It also expected thunder to continue clapping over various parts in Lower Egypt.
As of Monday, Egypt has been witnessing hot weather, with a slight increase in temperatures. The EMA said the rapid change in weather is one of the autumn season’s characteristics.
From Tuesday to Saturday, the country's north coast is expected to see warm weather, with highs of 27-29 degrees and lows of 20-22 degrees, according to the EMA.
It added that Egypt’s south and South Sinai are set to see extremely hot weather during the day, with highs ranging from 37-42 degrees, and moderate weather during nights, with lows ranging from 20-25 degrees.
