Queiroz, 68, had a perfect start with the Egyptian team, securing three successive wins since taking over last month.
The Egyptians defeated Liberia 2-0 in a friendly game on 1 October in Queiroz’s debut, before beating Libya twice in the World Cup qualifiers double test.
"The team played with competence and character. It was nice to enjoy a good start, but a good start alone is not enough. This is all about finishing with success," Queiroz tweeted on Wednesday.
Egypt defeated Libya 1-0 at home on Friday, before completing a double over the Mediterranean Knights with an emphatic 3-0 win in Benghazi on Monday, moving within touching distance of a place in the final World Cup qualifying playoff.
According to Queiroz, his team still has a lot to do to continue the road to the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar successfully.
"There is a price to pay, which is full commitment and sacrifices for the team, until the end," the Egypt coach added.
After Monday’s win, Egypt top Group F with 10 points, four ahead of Libya, with only two matches remaining. Gabon is third with four points, with Angola lying at the bottom with three.
The Pharaohs need just one win from their final two games against Angola and Gabon next month to ensure that they finish on top and reach the final two-legged playoff for a place in the World Cup finals.
