Ahly announced on Thursday the acquisition of Ismaily's fullback Ahmed Seddik for the next four seasons on a free transfer. "Seddik will wear Ahly 's shirt during the next four seasons," Ahly's marketing director Adly Al-Quey told Ahram Online.
Seddik started his career as a player in Ahly's youth team before moving to Assyout Petroleum. Two years later he returned to Ahly and spent three years with his home club before quitting the Red Devils to Ismaily in 2009 as part of the Sherif Abdel-Fadil bid.
The 28-year-old right back produced a string of strong performances with Ismaily during the past three seasons, appearing as one of the team's stars.
