Former presidential candidate Amr Moussa has condemned Sunday's arson attack on Ahmed Shafiq's campaign headquarters in Giza.
The attacks were inappropriate and the presidential election should be free of further violence, Moussa said via Twitter.
The incident at Shafiq's HQ took place following a number of protests across the country in response to the Supreme Presidential Electoral Commission's (SPEC) official announcement that Mubarak-era prime minister Ahmed Shafiq and Muslim Brotherhood nominee Mohamed Morsi are to compete in the presidential election run-offs on 16 and 17 June.
