Liverpools German tactician, Jürgen Klopp, declined to make any comparisons between his Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah, 29, and Manchester United's iconic player Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, saying they are both "world-class players."

"Why should we compare them? Both are world-class players," Klopp told a press conference on Friday ahead of the much-anticipated game between the Reds and the Red Devils in the 9th matchday of the English Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.

"Mo's left foot is probably better. Cristiano is slightly better in the air and with right foot," he added.

"Both pretty quick and desperate to score goals." The Liverpool coach said.

Liverpool are second in the league table with 18 points after playing 8 games so far this season, while United are 6th with 14 points.

The Egyptian international is in the driving seat of the English Premier League scorers' list with seven goals, while the Portugeuse Selecao scored only 3 goals since joining Manchester United last summer.
