The game was scheduled to take place at 21:00 Cairo local time on 15 November before the EFA decided to postpone the game to be played the following day at 15:00.
The EFA has set Borg El-Arab in Alexandria to host Gabon game, and requested security authorities allow 30,000 spectators to attend the game.
The Pharaohs will then face Angola in the fifth round of the WC qualifiers on 12 November.
Egypt are now leading their Group F which includes Angola, Gabon and Libya with 10 points after winning in three matches and equalizing in one game.
