Egypt reports 929 new coronavirus cases, 54 deaths on Monday

Egypt reported 929 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the total infection tally officially to 338,414 since the outbreak began in February 2020.

Egypt’s Health Ministry reported in its daily coronavirus statement that 54 new deaths related to Covid-19 complications were recorded officially in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 19,130.

The statement added that 522 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries 283,747.
