Ahly are close to signing Smouha’s Ghanaian striker Samuel Affum, who told his team management that he is eager to play for the Cairo giants next season.
The 23-year-old was Smouha’s top scorer with seven goals before the league was cancelled because of the Port Said massacre.
The Alexandrian side demanded LE 12 million to offload the Ghanaian striker for Ahly while the Red Devils management are doing their best to reduce the amount to LE 8 million.
Under the helm of new tactician Hossam El-Badry, Ahly are eager to sign new young players to refresh the teams' squad for next season’s campaign.
