 FIBA International Cup

Egypt will be the first ever African country to host the international basketball tournament in its history.

The tournament is scheduled to run 11-13 February 2022, following the draw at a to-be-determined date prior to the games.

Four teams, including Egypt's Zamalek, will take part in the prestigious tournament.

Zamalek, who had previously claimed the FIBA Africa Champions Cup in 1992, won the inaugural edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) after defeating US Monastir of Tunisia 76-63 in the final in Rwanda last May.
