Mansour, who returned to his position on Tuesday, had been suspended following allegations of corruption which were all denied after months of investigations.

"The elections will take place on 20, 21, or 22 January 2022. And the date to receive candidates' applications will be announced on 30 November," Mansour said.

The club's president also stressed that he has no problems with the team's French coach, Patrice Carteron, who is happy to continue his mission with the Whites.

"There will be a general coach and an assistant coach as agreed upon with coach Carteron, no lapses will be allowed again so that discipline returns to the team."

Zamalek are currently third in the Egyptian Premier League table with 10 points after five games, behind second-placed Pyramids who have 13 points, and league leaders Ahly with 15 points.
