Presidential candidate Amr Moussa, who came fifth in the May vote, has said that he will remain involved in politics. He is yet to decide between creating a political party that serves Egypt's January 25 Revolution as well as Egyptian society, or a political association that will work on both local and international issues.
The news came in a meeting with Moussa's supporters at his presidential campaign headquarters in Dokki on Tuesday. His supporters encouraged the idea of establishing a political party that will fight for the revolution's demands.
Recently. the Wafd party has announced that Moussa will serve as the party's honorary president for life.
Moussa, who served as Egypt's foreign minister for ten years under Mubarak, was expected to be one of the frontrunners in Egypt's presidential elections.
