Titled Onshoudet Farah ("A Chant of Joy"), the exhibition's collection includes textiles depicting singers, musicians, people holding palm branches, and icons showing Saint Nicolas and the birth of Jesus, said Moemen Othman, head of the Museums Sectors.
Entertaining activities for children and adults are held on the sidelines of the exhibition, stated Gihan Shawki, director of the Coptic Museum.
The activities include children's ballet performances, whirling dervishes shows, children's musical concerts, and guided tours in the museum, she added.
In addition, two art workshops to decorate Christmas trees and draw on paper are organised, Shawki said.
