Egypt reports 830 new coronavirus infections, 29 deaths on Saturday

Egypt reported 830 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, bringing the total infection toll up to 391,945 since the outbreak began in February 2020, the health ministry said.

The ministry also reported 29 new deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total fatalities nationwide to 21,938.

The statement added that 901 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 326,265.

The Health Ministry also announced that its teams vaccinated 12,100 people at Churches and public squares during Christmas in Cairo , Giza, Qalioubiya,Alexandria,Minya, Sohag, Assuit,Qena, Luxor,Aswan , Sharkia ,Damietta and Daqahalia on Thursday and Friday.
