The 22 countries were added to the Level 4 “COVID-19 very high” list which includes over 100 countries, already including Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
“Avoid travel to these destinations, if you must travel to these destinations, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel,” The CDC told American citizens.

Till date, Egypt has recorded 401,308 cases of coronavirus officially since its outbreak in February 2020 including 22,170 fatalities and 334,629 recoveries.
So far, Egypt has secured around 129 million doses of different coronavirus vaccines, Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar told the media on Friday.
Egypt has administered around 36 million first vaccine shots, 24 million second shots, and half a million booster shots, Abdel-Ghaffar added.
