The first ‘Dream’ Art Exhibition for Marginalised Children will take place from 14 to 19 February 2022 in Cairo at the Townhouse Gallery to shed light and create social awareness on vital issues facing marginalised children in Egypt.

Dream

The exhibition is aiming to showcase the outcome of 95 workshops in various fields of art; including painting, ceramics, macramé, and cloth dolls making, in which 250 children are participating from different institutions.

The institutions involved are the Banati Foundation, Samusocial International, Association for the Protection of the Environment, Educate Me Foundation, the UNHCR, and Save the Children International.

“We are proud of the results achieved by the children, and we hope that this exhibition will contribute to their potentials and help them become active members of their societies in the future,” stated the exhibition’s organiser, Olivia Farahat.

The event is organised by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, along with ALEXBANK and in partnership with Al-Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment and UBUNTU Art Gallery.
