The Cairo Film Society's 47th and 48th editions announced the winning films that were released in 2020 and 2021. 

This year, the two editions were combined as last year’s was delayed due to the pandemic.

According to the information provided by the Cairo Film Society,  which operates under the Ministry of Culture, this year a total of 47 films were taken into consideration for awards: 21 released in 2020 and 26 in 2021.

The films included those released in the cinemas and on the streaming platforms.
