On Friday, Ali El-Haggar and his orchestra will take to the stage, one day before Medhat Saleh’s concert, both of which will be performing some of their most songs that include a variety of romantic, patriotic, and film and TV themes, as well as classic Arabic covers.

Under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Abydos Music Festival comes as part of a programme in various Upper Egyptian cities that also includes the second edition of the Dendara Music Festival that is kicking off this weekend in Qena.
