Ndala, 34, was in charge of Egypt's 2-2 away draw to Angola in a World Cup qualifier last November as well as the Pharaohs' shootout win over Cote d'Ivoire in the African Cup of Nations round of 16 in January.

On the club level, he refereed Ahly's victory over Morocco's Raja in the African Super Cup in December and Zamalek's 2-2 draw at home to Angola's Petro Atletico in the African Champions League group stage last month.

Egypt host Senegal at Cairo's International Stadium on 25 March before facing them in Dakar four days later.

The winners will be one of Africa's five representatives at the World Cup finals in Qatar in November.

Both sides clashed in the Nations Cup final last month, which Senegal won on penalties following a 0-0 draw.
