“I am so happy with the concert held today in Riyadh Season for the Egyptian rap stars,” stated Turki Al Alshikh, head of the kingdom’s General Entertainment Authority, adding that he is “also happy for the attendance of a large number of the beloved Egyptian audience in Riyadh.”

The three Alexandrian rappers, who are in their early 20s, sung their tunes over backing tracks as thousands of attendees sang along.

Afroto performed tracks like Mesh Bel Hozooz, Far Khebra, Segara and his recent Tegy Goon. Marwan Pablo performed hits like Ghaba, El-Gemiez, Control and his latest hit Barbary. Pablo is scheduled to perform in Alexandria this Friday.

Wegz, who performed his famous tracks like Dorak Gay, Keify Keda and El-Bakht, was widely discussed on social media for his outfit during the concert, which consisted of an over-sized green blazer, purple shorts, a huge-collared khaki shirt and long black boots.

The three rappers are among the top-listened artists in Egypt on global streaming platforms in recent years.

The concert will be screened on MBC soon, stated Al Alshikh.
