Taking place at the Abu Bakr Salem Theatre’s Riyadh Boulevard City, all of the concert’s tickets were reportedly sold out just a few hours after the booking opened.
“The concert may witness the two giant singers sharing the stage,” stated Egyptian TV presenter Amr Adeeb on his talk show on Saudi network MBC.
The multi-award-winning Hamaki, who started as a composer, gained widespread fame after his first album Khalina Naesh was released in 2003, followed by many hit albums like his latest Ya Fatenny.
Topping the charts of Arabic language music streaming services, Amr Diab has dominated the pop scene in the Arab world since the 1980s. He recently unveiled that his latest and upcoming music releases will be exclusively available on Arab platform Anghami.
Running under the Kingdom’s General Entertainment Authority, Riyadh Season has run for almost five months with over 14 million attendees participating in its 7,500 activities that include live concerts, theatre plays, art exhibitions, interactive events and other activities.
Last week, Riyadh Season hosted the first concert for Egyptian rappers Wegz, Marwan Pablo and Afroto in Saudi Arabia.
