The EMA predicated a week of warm weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and Upper Egypt during the day.
All parts across the nation, however, will see cold or extreme cold at nights.
Throughout the week, morning fog is expected to hover from 4am to 8am over roads and highways leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, and middle and North Sinai.
The EMA also warned of wind activity in several areas nationwide, including South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
The meteorological authority forecast highs ranging from 21 to 29 degrees Celsius in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, and lows of 10-13 degrees until next Thursday.
The northern coast is expected to see highs of 18-23 degrees and lows of 11-14, while South Sinai will see highs of 23-30 and lows of 13-18.
Additionally, the northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 22-32 and lows of 9-14, while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 25-37 and lows of 12-16.
The rise in temperatures comes after two weeks marked by low temperatures, rains, and active winds in most parts of the country. The bad weather led to the suspension of schools in Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh on Wednesday and Thursday.
The constantly rising and falling temperatures are a staple of Egyptian weather at this time of the year as the country bids farewell to winter and welcomes the spring season, which is known for its fluctuating temperatures.
