Ahmed Dash portrayed Young Punk, one of Harrow’s henchmen who loses a fight against Spector in the show’s third episode titled “The Friendly Type.”

The new Marvel series premiered on 30 March on Disney Plus. The six-episode series focuses on the titular character who becomes the human avatar of the ancient Egyptian moon god Khonshu. The series trailer was released in January and has since garnered over 33 million views.

Directed by Mohamed Diab, Moon Knight is the first cooperation between the Egyptian director and US Marvel Studios and Disney Plus. The series also sees appearances of Bahraini-born actress May Calamawy.

Born in October 2000 and one of the youngest talents in the country, Ahmed Dash began acting in television commercials early on. He then made his acting breakthrough in Amr Salama’s film Excuse My French, followed by roles in over 20 films and television series in which he acted alongside the best-known Egyptian artists.

His other significant works include roles in Photocopy (2017) — which was directed by Tamer Ashri and starred Mahmoud Hemeida and Sherine Reda — as well as Peter Mimi’s Casablanca (2019), starring Amir Karara.

Most recently Dash was appointed ambassador of Shabab Balad, a UNICEF Egypt initiative, the first offspring of UN's Generation Unlimited Initiative in the region.
