The meetings, hosted by Egypt under the guardianship of the United Nations, are proceeding in a positive atmosphere amid keenness of all participants to consult in order to ensure that the Libyan national interest is above any considerations, Libyan sources said.

The sources added that the meetings touched on the executive mechanisms required to establish the constitutional and legislative basis for the national elections in Libya.

Egypt has steadfastly supported a political resolution for the crisis in Libya, coordinating with various Libyan political forces to push for ways to achieve stability and security in the country.
