Egypt's president-elect, Mohamed Morsi, has said he does not want roads to be closed when he travels by car, a source has told Ahram Online.
Roads were often closed for hours, causing traffic chaos, when former president Hosni Mubarak travelled in Cairo.
Moreover, Morsi has refused to move into the presidential palace, which is located near the presidential headquarters, against the advice of his security team. He will remain at his current home in New Cairo.
Morsi will take the presidential oath on Saturday at the High Constitutional Court.
