The court sentenced the three defendants to death by hanging and one other to life in prison for killing a low-ranking policeman in Qaha, Qalioubiya.

According to the prosecution, the defendants stole a car while armed with two automatic rifles and, amid their escape, passed by a police checkpoint, where they opened fire, killing a policeman and injuring others.

This is considered a first-degree sentence that can be appealed.
