The concert was sold out five hours after tickets went on sale. Immediately after Cairo Jazz Club announced the event, fans rushed to purchase tickets.

Cigarettes After Sex was formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2008. They first gained fame through YouTube, which led to them touring across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

The band then released their self-titled debut studio album in 2017, which is considered their best album to date.

The sensational pop band played famous hits such as Apocalypse, Sunsetz, K., Sweet, Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby, and Heavenly.

Their music is described as hazy, chill, and romantic with a touch of tender vocals.

The band's music is known for its chilling and dream-like vibes, but this does not prevent fans from dancing to it.

Popularity of the band is increasing and many fans were frustrated that tickets sold out instantly. Many also expressed disappointment that the band chose a small venue for the concert.

Fans who attended described the event as "really fun and chill," stating that they enjoyed their favorite and "close to the heart" songs from the band's different albums.

One of the attendees said that "there were good vibes all around the venue and Cigarettes After Sex delivered a solid performance, giving the fans an amazing first experience."
