The Pharaohs will face South Korea in a friendly game on Tuesday as the latter is preparing for the World Cup that will take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December.
Egypt's injury problems were compounded after central midfield duo Hamdi Fathi and Emam Ashour were ruled out of the coming match.
Egypt are also missing another central midfielder in Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny, who sat out the Group D matches because of an injury.
Aston Villa's Mahmoud Trezeguet will be also unavailable against South Korea.
The squad witnessed the appearance of Enppi uncapped winger Mostafa Shalabi to replace injured players in the Pharaohs’ squad.
The Pharaohs will be looking for a morale-boosting win against South Korea after a disastrous showing against Ethiopia when they lost 2-0 away from home in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last week.
South Korea are in Group H of the 2022 World Cup alongside Ghana, Portugal and Uruguay.
They will kick off their mission in the prestigious tournament against Uruguay on 24 November.
