The Crown Prince will meet Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to discuss issues that include the regional impact of the war in Ukraine.

The meeting will also tackle preparations for US President Joe Biden's trip to Saudi Arabia next month, according to the sources.

On Tuesday, the White House announced that Biden will make his first trip to the Middle East as president July 13-16. The US President will attend a regional Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Saudi Arabia.

The latest visit by the Saudi Crown Prince to Egypt was in June 2021, when he met the Egyptian President in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

Bin Salman's regional tour includes Jordan and Turkey.

He is expected to hold meetings with leaders of both countries, Saudi newspaper Okaz reported.
