Sisi extends condolences to King Abdullah II of Jordan over victims of toxic gas leak in Aqaba port

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi offered condolences to King Abdullah II of Jordan and Jordanian people for the victims of the toxic gas leak in Aqaba port on Monday.

13 people were reportedly killed and more than 200 injured after a large tank fell from a crane on a moored vessel causing an explosion of yellow gas.

President El-Sisi, who is currently in a two-days visit to Oman that kicked off on Monday, expressed his wishes to the injured for speed recovery.

Earlier the Egyptian Foreign Ministry also extended Egypt’s official condolence to Jordan in a press release that adding Egypt stands in solidarity with the government and people of Jordan after this tragedy
