Egypt’s president discusses regional, int'l developments with King Salman of Saudi Arabia

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi tackled the recent regional and international developments with King Salman of Saudi Arabia in a telephone call on Wednesday, the Egyptian presidency said.

The call El-Sisi received from Salman comes days before US President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, where he will participate in the GCC+3 Summit.

The summit will bring together leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and the US.

In June, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman visited Egypt in a regional tour that included Jordan and Turkey.
