“I think I won everything with Liverpool in individual and team matters but there are always wishes to win more trophies,” the Egyptian star said.

“I always want to win any trophy for the second, third and fourth times as it’s my mentality,” Salah said.

The 30-year-old Salah was named the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year to become the seventh man to win the award more than once after a season in which he scored 23 goals in the Premier League.

“I am very excited to play alongside [Darwin] Nunez who performed a brilliant season last year and played well against us in the Champions League,” Salah said.

Liverpool signed Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez from the portuguese side Benfica early this month to support the team’s frontline ahead of the start of the new season.

“I whish all the best for Darwin and I hope could score more goals for us,” Salah said.

“I think we are now on the right track to compete on everything after the new signings,” the Egyptian star said.

On 1 July, Liverpool moved to end speculation regarding Mohamed Salah's future by tying him down to a new long-term deal.

Salah's previous deal was due to expire in the summer of 2023 as widespread reports suggested that Liverpool had failed to meet his financial demands to prolong his stay.
