El-Wedidi's performance will follow another concert by Lebanese singer Tania Kassis.
The well-known singer and songwriter will perform a selection from her repertoire, which is rooted in Egyptian heritage but also features wider African and global influences.
El-Wedidi is expected to perform some of her best-known songs like Tedawar W-Tergaa, Al-Seirah, Kotr El-Wagaa and Fi Belad El-Agayeb, as well as her latest Ya Badr and El-Koun.
Among El-Wedidi’s latest performances was her pleasant appearance at the Alexandria’s Roman Amphitheatre on 8 August at the opening of Egypt’s Summer Festival for Music and Singing.
The 30th edition of the festival is introducing dozens of concerts for many renowned Egyptian and Arab World star singers like Hany Shaker, Ali El Haggar, Nawal El Zoghbi, Mohamed Mohsen, Nouran Abutaleb, Tania Saleh, Nesma Mahgoub, Lena Chamamyan, as well as bands like Black Theama, and Wust El-Balad, and Sufi chanters like Yassin ElTohamy and El-Hadra Troup, among others.
