The Egyptian president was accompanied by the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, King Abdullah II of Jordan, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and Iraqi Prime Minister Mostafa Kadhimi, according to a statement by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The leaders of the five Arab countries held a meeting earlier in the day to exchange views about boosting bilateral relations and optimising means to strengthen cooperation amongst them, according to Rady.
Earlier on Monday, El-Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, who had arrived in Egypt on Sunday for bilateral talks with the Egyptian president, received the three other Arab leaders at Alamein International Airport.
The five-way Arab meeting in New Alamein came as the five Arab countries intesify efforts to bolster economic integration among them.
