Danish side FC Nordsjælland have made a $2 million offer to sign Pyramids FC's highly-rated winger Ibrahim Adel, the club's owners said on Saturday.

According to local media, the Right to Dream academy, which bought Nordsjælland in 2015, said in a statement that it had tabled a bid to acquire the services of Adel in the summer transfer window.

Right to Dream was acquired by Egyptian multinational conglomerate Mansour Group last year.

The big-spending Pyramids FC, who reportedly put a hefty $5 million price tag on Adel amid reported interest from Cairo giants Ahly, have not yet commented on Nordsjælland's offer.

The 21-year-old is one of the most exciting young talents in Egyptian football.

Despite an injury-plagued campaign, Adel scored six goals and provided four assists in the Egyptian Premier League this season as Pyramids moved close to securing a runners-up spot, which would mark their highest ever position.

They lead third-placed Ahly by four points with one league round remaining, although the latter still have a game in hand on Pyramids.

Adel, who made his Egypt debut in September last year, has four international caps.
