Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast will experience hot and humid weather in the daytime through Saturday, while South Sinai and Upper Egypt will see an extremely hot weather, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
Moderate and humid weather is predicted in Greater Cairo, the North Coast and northern Upper Egypt during night-time, while South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt are expected to see a warm weather, the EMA reported.
Starting Thursday, Greater Cairo and the North Coast will experience highs of 31 degrees Celsius, but the feeling of heat will range between 33 and 34.
The North Coast will see highs of 29 degrees that may feel like 32 to 33 degrees, while South Sinai will see highs of 35 degrees, or feels-like 38.
Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 32-33 degrees, and the feeling of heat will range from 34 to 35 degrees, while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 37-38 degrees, feeling like 38-39.
Low level clouds are expected on areas in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Egypt, absorbing heat and improving the weather conditions.
Active winds over parts of the North Coast and South Sinai at night could help in breathing through the heat.
The EMA warned that a morning fog would last until 6am every day until Saturday on highways, agricultural roads, and roads overlooking water surfaces that connect Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and Suez Canal cities, middle Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
