During a meeting in Cairo with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, the president ordered expanding the use of high-speed terrestrial internet services by spreading the use of fibre-optic networks and building more mobile towers to improve services across the nation.
The president also issued directives to provide incentives for outstanding students of the Digital Egypt Cubs initiative in order to hone their skills in the information technology sector.
Talaat, for his part, spoke about the educational process at the Egypt University of Informatics and the executive position of the Knowledge City in the New Administrative Capital; El-Sisi has directed the speedy completion of the city at the highest technological level.
El-Sisi also ordered expanding the establishment of Creative Innovation Hubs to offer training activities in various governorates.
