Two exhibitions at Picasso Art Gallery
Sunday 11 September - Sunday 2 October
Picasso Art Gallery, 30 Hassan Assem St. Zamalek, Cairo
The gallery features works by Ayman El-Semary under the title ‘Tent’ (Hall 1) and representing his retrospective journey through paintings, and a solo exhibition by Islam Omar El-Nagdi (Hall 2). 

Cairo International Days for Monodrama
Monday 12 September - Friday 16 September
The festival’s activities are held at Al-Hanager Theatre and across other halls located at the Cairo Opera House grounds. The event showcases numerous monodramas by Egyptian and international theatre makers, in addition to workshops and seminars.

Egypt premiere of Marmaduke

The animated film follows a story of a dog named Marmaduke who turns from an undisciplined, but lovable dog, into the first Great Dane to win the World Dog Championship.

Disney songs and musicals
Wednesday 14 September and Thursday 16 September, 8pm
Cairo Opera House, main hall, Zamalek, Cairo
Cairo Opera Company and Cairo Opera Orchestra under the baton of Mohamed Wehedy will feature the best known songs from Disney movies and musicals. Among the concert highlights are: Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins) performed by Salma El-Gebaly, Let it Go (Frozen) by Jolie Faizy, From Russia with Love by Walid Korayem, A Whole New World (Aladdin) by Ezzat Ghanem and Salma El-Gebaly, among others.

Rania Shaalan concert

Passionate about singing, Rania writes, composes and sings most of her songs.She also sings some of the Rubaiyats of Salah Jaheen as well as poetry by Ahmed Fouad Nigm, in addition to poetry of young poets.

Friday 16 September – on Netflix
The Netflix comedy focuses on Drea and Eleanor who agree to go after one another's bullies. The film stars Maya Hawke, Sophie Turner, Camila Mendes.

Band 404 concert
Friday 16 September, 8pm
Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alexandria
Band 404 is an Egyptian sextet playing rock covers alongside their original compositions. Since its formation in 2018, the band has performed in numerous venues across Egypt.

Mom Is Pregnant on Netflix
Tuesday 20 September
The Egyptian comedy Mom is Pregnant (2021) will be shown on Netflix starting 20 September. Directed by Mahmoud Karim, the film stars Yehia El Fakharany, Sherif El Desouky, Fares El Fakharany, among others.
