The United States is to grant Egypt $250 million in credit guarantees for trade, Hillary Clinton has told a Cairo press conference.
Clinton also announced the founding of a $60 million investment fund for Egypt, to be managed by Egyptian and US business figures.
The US Secretary of State arrived in Cairo on Saturday evening. She was speaking at a news conference held after a meeting with President Mohamed Morsi at the presidential palace in Heliopolis, northern Cairo.
