Tarek El-Kholy, a member of the committee, shared on Facebook photos of the detainees following their release.
According to El-Kholy, the freed detainees included human rights lawyer Amr Nohan, who was arrested in June 2019 on charges of joining a terrorist organisation and spreading fake news.
Egypt's prosecution has been ordering the release of hundreds of pretrial detainees in batches in recent months.
Last week, the prosecution ordered the release of 70 pretrial detainees pending investigation.
This was the largest batch to be released pending investigation since the reactivation of the Presidential Pardon Committee in April.
Since the re-activation of the pardon committee in April and the launch of preparations for the National Dialogue in May, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has pardoned many high-profile political activists who had received final sentences.
The committee, which was first formed in 2016, receives the names of prisoners considered for presidential pardon from various parties and political forces, including the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), parliament’s Human Rights Committee, as well as directly through its website.
The scope of the work of the committee has been expanded to include imprisoned debtors.
The government and various political forces are preparing for the National Political Dialogue that will discuss pressing political, economic, and social issues within a few weeks.
