The Brazilian opened the scoring on 39 minutes when he intercepted a mis-placed pass from Moroccan midfielder Zakaria El Wardi, flummoxed Mohamed Abdel-Ghani and sent a beautiful curling shot past keeper Mohamed Awad.
"My goal in today's match is one of my best goals, especially as it gave Ahly a new title," Savio told Abu Dhabi Sports TV after the game.
"Since joining Ahly several months ago, I've been focusing on making it a successful experience and it is. I am happy that I had contributed to a new title for Ahly."
Savio is Ahly's marquee summer signing, having joined from Bolivia's Club Bolivar for $1.5 million.
"Ahly is a big club and has a great record. (Playing for Ahly) is a unique experience for me," he added.
The Red Devils have extended their Super Cup record to 12 titles, six of which came at the expense of Zamalek.
