Egypt has taken big strides in healthcare: General Manger of Roche Egypt

“Egypt Vision 2030 ensures that all Egyptians enjoy a safe and healthy life under the Universal Healthcare Insurance System. This system ensures financial protection for those who cannot afford healthcare services… It also contributed to making Egypt a pioneer on the Arab and African levels in health and preventive research and services,” said the General Manger of Roche Egypt Mohamed Swilam.

Swilam made the comments during his participation in the third edition of Al-Ahram Foundation’s two-day pharmaceutical conference that kicked off on Sunday.

Egypt has taken significant strides in terms of expanding access to healthcare and drugs, which is reflected in efforts like the presidential healthcare initiatives that grant citizens access to high-quality healthcare services, said Swilam.
