Pyramids FC overturned their 1-0 loss against Nigelec in the first leg to claim an easy 3-0 victory at home to go through the next round with a 3-1 win on aggregate.
Moroccan midfielder Walid El-Karti opened the scoring for Pyramids FC in the 23 rd minute, while Abdallah El-Saed doubled the lead, three minutes after the break.
South African striker Fagrie Lakay made it 3-0 in the 68 th minute to confirm the win.
Earlier in the day, Future FC completed passage to the Group stage after defeating Angolan side Primeiro de Agosto 3-2 on shoot-out.
The Egyptian side earned a positive result in the first leg with a 1-1 away draw and their mission in the second leg seemed easy.
But they were stunned with a goal in the 45 th minute. They needed to wait until the injury time that witnessed Omar Kamal goal who scored the equalizer seconds from time.
Keeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim blocked three penalties lifting Future FC to the Group stage with 3-2 win.
