Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church celebrates 10 years of Pope Tawadros II's enthronement

Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church held mass on Friday to celebrate 10 years of the enthronement of Pope Tawadros II on the throne of St. Mark the Apostle with the participation of 115 members of the Holy Synod.

Pope Tawadros led mass this morning in the Holy Transfiguration Church in Logos Centre in northern Egypt’s Wadi El-Natroun, according to a statement by the Church.

A total of 115 fathers, metropolitans, bishops, and patriarchal deputies of Cairo and Alexandria, who are also participating in the ninth seminar in Logos Centre, accompanied the pope.

After the mass, Pope Tawadros, surrounded by members of the Holy Synod, took a memorial photo.

After the ninth seminar session yesterday evening, members of the Holy Synod celebrated the occasion with Pope Tawadros II, the statement said.
