A number of jets from the Red Arrows will take part in the show along with the Air Forces' Silver Stars near Hurghada city, Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesman Gharib Abdel-Hafez said in a statement on Sunday.

In conjunction, Egyptian paratroopers will present a number of shows during the event, said the spokesman.

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and Ministry of Youth and Sports will also take part in the organisation of the event, the spokesman added.

The show will help to promote tourism in Hurghada city, which is distinguished by its enchanting beauty and nice weather all year round, Officer Mohamed Raafat of the Egyptian Silver Stars said in a press conference last week.

During the press conference, British Defense Attaché to Egypt Colonel Mark Beynon extended his thanks to the Egyptian Armed Force for inviting the royal team to participate in this event.

"The show will be a great opportunity to boost ties between Egyptian and British air forces," said Beynon.

The Hurghada Air Show was organised following the great success of the Pyramids Air Show 2022, which Egypt hosted, with the participation of South Korea’s Black Eagles, at the Giza Plateau in August.
