The drill, held at an Egyptian air base, is part of efforts to enhance military cooperation with friendly countries, Abdel-Hafez added.

The training included several theoretical lectures to unify concepts, refine skills, and coordinate the management of joint operations in various modern air combat methods.

The multi-role fighters carried out joint air sorties for training to attack hostile targets and defend vital targets efficiently.

The Egyptian army stated that the training showed the high level and professionalism of participating forces and that the air forces of both countries possess advanced human and technical capabilities that qualify them to work together under various circumstances.

In November, the Egyptian and Greek armed forces participated in the air and naval drills "MEDUSA-12 drills" which lasted for several days in the Mediterranean Sea.

MEDUSA-12 saw the participation of forces from Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, and the US, while the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Germany, France, Romania, Congo, and Morocco were present as observers.
